gabinetto armonico Bremen

Gabinetto Armonico Bremen is an early music group specialized in the performance of music from the 17th and 18th Centuries on copies of instruments dating from the same period. The main focus of the group is the interpretation of the Italian music from the 17th Century and its spreading throughout Europe in the 17th and 18th Centuries.

Gabinetto Armonico Bremen was founded in 2013 by Anna Terterjan and Hélène Nassif. The musicians of Gabinetto Armonico Bremen met and studied at the Hochschule für Künste Bremen in Germany:

Anna Terterjan - Sopran

Franciska Hajdu and Laura Fierro - Baroque Violin

Dàvid Budai - Viola da Gamba

Hélène Nassif - Baroque Harp

The name of the group refers to a unique collection of instruments in the Collegio Romano in the 18th Century which possessed instruments from each continent (African percussions, Hebraic wind instruments, Chinese trumpets, Turkish violins).

Gabinetto Armonico Bremen is dedicated to search for forgotten pieces of baroque music in order to revive this music for today's audience.
